The City of Whitehorse’s Active Commute Program is a community-driven initiative designed to create lasting changes in how citizens get around while encouraging healthier and more sustainable travel habits. Originally a one-week challenge, the program has expanded to a year-round effort, leading to a month-long challenge in the summer.
To support the program’s growth, Focus Communications was contracted to create a new website for the Active Commute initiative. This included creating a bold and engaging new colour palette, updating the logo, creating new web pages, and developing a new user portal for tracking active transportation.
